Hymer Cape Town

Hymer hade en bil baserad på Vw transporter med det korta axelavståndet, deras variant av Californian. Den hade många likheter men också flera annorlunda lösningar. Hymer har en alternativ planlösning med köket på högersidan bak i bilen. Det är samma placering som i Westfalia Club Joker men där slutar likheten. Till skillnad från Californian har Hymer ett tak som fälls upp manuellt, inget fel i det men som jag ser det kan man inte använda köket utan att fälla upp taket, det finns inte plats att vara på om man inte fäller upp taket. Samtidigt så ligger madrasserna staplat ovanpå skåpen på vänster sida, mitt emot köksdelen. Det kan fungera om man reser från ett ställe till sin slut destination för dagen men ska man laga mat eller koka kaffe under resan blir det svårt. I det fallet har Californian och Club Joker en mycket bättre planlösning. En annan sak som, när man gjort i ordning den nedre bädden så har man blockerat vatten, spisen och kylskåpet, så är det inte i Californian.  

Hymer had a car based on VW Transporter with short wheelbase, their version of the Californian. It had many similarities, but also several different solutions. Hymer has an alternative plan with the kitchen on the right rear of the car. It's the same position as in Westfalia Club Joker but there the similarity ends. Unlike Californian Hymer has a roof that folds up manually, nothing wrong in that but as I see it, one can not use the kitchen without lifting up the roof, there is no place to be in if you do not flip up the roof. Meanwhile, as the mattresses are stacked on top of the cabinets on the left side, opposite the kitchen area. It can work if you are traveling from one place to their final destination for the day but should you cook or cook coffee during the journey will be difficult. In that case, the Californian and Club Joker a much better plan. Another thing, when you had prepared the lower bed, you have blocked the water, stove and fridge, so there will not be in the Californian.
